Velocity time graph

• The gradient of a velocity time graph shows the acceleration of the object.
• If the object has a constant positive gradient then the object has a constant acceleration
• If the object has a constant negative gradient then the object has a constant deceleration
• Flat sections have a gradient of 0 meaning velocity is constant.
• If the curve gets steeper, the gradient must be increasing
• Velocity is the measurement of how fast an object moves at a particular direction
