  If something is against the law or organisational policies, there is a chance that it is unethical.
• WILL IT LOOK GOOD IN A NEWSPAPER?


  Would I be happy if I read about my decision in a newspaper?
• IS IT CONSISTENT WITH THE ORGANISATION'S VALUES?


  If I make this decision, am I honouring what the organisation expects of me regarding its values?
• IS IT FAIR TO ALL?


  Consider the "other" and have empathy for them. If I make this decision, would it be equally fair to all stakeholders?
• IF I DO IT, WILL IT FEEL GOOD?


  This is a personal question calling for one's conscience for guidance.
• Using the quick test as a decision-making tool and the discussions above, the action can be seen as ethical/unethical.
• As all five criteria is/isn't met.
• DOES IT MEET COMPANY STANDARDS?

  If I make this decision, am I honouring what the organisation expects of me regarding its values?
• CAN IT BE DISCLOSED?

  If I make this decision, would I be comfortable to give a public or private for the decision that I have just taken?
