Indicates uncompleted action of the past, indicates persistent habits of the past

Indicates an action in the past that began before a certain point in the past and continued up until that point in time
Present Perfect Progressive
Indicates an action which started at some point in the past and may or may not be complete

Indicates an action that will have happened for some time and will not be complete yet at a certain point in the future

Indicates a completed action of the past that happened before another event took place

Adjective
A word which modifies a noun or pronoun
Gradable Adjective
Many adjectives describe qualities that can be measured in degrees, such as size, beauty, age, etc.
Non-gradable Adjective
Some adjectives describe qualities that are completely present or completely absent.
They do not occur in comparative and superlative forms and cannot be used with adverbs such as very or extremely.
