Provide students with opportunities to apply relevant knowledge and skills acquired from the institution to actual work setting provided by the partner companies
Enhance the knowledge and skills of student interns through employer-based training in order to become more responsive to the future demands of the labor market
Develop life skills such as the values of professionalism, work appreciation, communication skills, interpersonal skills and financial literacy
Acquire professional work ethics in the course of internship
Acceptance Letter
Communication issued by the host training establishment to the university confirming the acceptance of the student trainees
Certificate of Completion
Certificate issued to the student-trainee upon completion of the internship training
Foreign Partner Agency
Any registered and qualified foreign partner entity, lawfully represented by the local partner agency in the Philippines, which deploys qualified students for internship training in the foreign country through their host establishment and companies
Host Training Establishment
Any establishment, private or government, including industrial firms, agencies, schools or hospitals, which accommodate student-trainees for practical exposure
Immersion
Integration of academic and professional training employing multiple learning methods including action-and/or context-and problem-based learning
Industry
Classification of groups of companies that are related based on their primary business activities. They produce goods or related services within an economy
Internship coordinator
Person who uses independent analysis and judgment to develop, coordinate and supervise complex and varied administrative task in order to provide exemplary career services to the campus community
Internship Manual
Book or booklet of instructions and guidelines, designed to improve the quality of internship/OJT/practicum of a particular program duly issued by the institution
