      Lower classes were seen as incapable, almost as if being a criminal was the most they could
      Men of upper classes expected to be listened to and obeyed, again, by people lower than themselves

      Upper classes would do almost anything to get themselves out of the blame
      The class divide meant that classes were not allowed to mix, and that most upper class people had a negative opinion about lower classes in general
