Form of Ozymandias - The poem is written as a sonnet, with a turning point (volta) similar to a petrarchan sonnet. However it does not follow the regular sonnet rhyme scheme. It also uses iambic pentameter which is often disrupted similar to the form. It also uses distancing of the reader to the subject as the poem is written as a second hand account.
