Heart chambers and heart

Cards (18)

  • The process in which a heart is pumped
    - The oxygen-poor blood exits through the right verticle into the lungs to be reoxygenated
    -        Then enters the left atrium
    -        Left ventricle
    -        Pumped out into the aorta into cells in the body
    -        Then will reenter the oxygen-poor blood into the right atrium
    Right ventricle and repeat
  • the oxygen poor blood goes through the left ventricle
  • The oxygen rich blood goes through the right ventricles
  • The bicuspid valve separates the left atrium from the left ventricle
  • The tricuspid valve separates the right atrium from the right ventricle
  • The valves are one way doors that prevent backflow of blood
  • The pulmonary semilunar valve separates the right ventricle from the pulmonary artery
  • The mitral valve separates the left ventricle from the aorta
  • The mitral or bicuspid valve separates the left ventricle from the aorta
  • The heart cycle jad 2 rounds before it gets pumped into the body
  • Atria- enters heart
  • Pulmonary artery- pathway for deoxygenated blood
  • Pulmonary vein -left atrium
  • SPC= superior vena carva
  • Semi aortic valve= (00
  • Pulmonary valve= openingnof pulmonary vein
  • Mitral valve-left atrium to left valve
  • Imperial VC= lower
