INFANT AND YOUNG CHILD FEEDING (IYCF)

• strategy 1:

  • partnership with ngo`s and GO`s in the coordination and implementation of IYCF program
• strategy 2:

  • integration of key IYCF action points in the MNCHN plan strategy/ plan of action
• strategy 3:

  • harnessing of the executive arm of government to implement and enforce the IYCF related legislation and regulation (E.O 51, RA 7200, RA 10028)
• strategy 4:

  intensified focus activities to produce an environment supportive to IYCF practices
• strategy 5:

  engaging the private sector and international organization to raise funds for the scaling up and support of IYCF program
