  • CAUSE 1 - ALLIANCES
    Europeans countries made alliances with each other which led to war involving all of europe. It was most probably happened because they might have disagreed with each other.
  • CAUSE 2- MILITARISM
    The war happened because as the 6 great powers contribute to give money to the military, they will get more money and power, and eventually they will start to be greedy.
  • CAUSE 3 - IMPERIALISM
    Britian had the largest empire in the world and with the largest navy to protect it. Britian was worried that the empire had become too big and was vulnerable to attack it.
  • WHAT WAS THE SCHLIEFFEN PLAN?
    The Schlieffen Plan was Germany's WW1 strategy to bypass French defenses by invading through Belgium, aiming for a victory, it failed due to the unexpected resistance.
  • WHY DID THE SCHLIEFFEN PLAN FAILED?
    POINT- The Schlieffen Plan Failed because it was too complicated and hard to manage everything.
  • WHY DID IT FAILED? 2
    EXPLANATION- Germany wanted to beat France quickly by going through Belgium, However it turned out to be tougher than they expected.

    EVIDENCE- Moving troops and supplies over long distances was tricky, and the plan got delayed. In fact, the Belgium and French armies fought harder than Germany would.
