    6. Go to seat-secure harness

    8. Go to seat-secure harness
    9. Assess conditions
    10. Normal operations- unless advised
  • Decompression
    1. Fit nearest oxygen mask
    2. Face aft
    3. Check oxygen is flowing
    4. Transfer to a portable oxygen bottle if safe to do so
    5. If no oxygen bottle within reach, wait until one is brought to you
    6. FAI check flight crew oxygen on
    7. Assist immobilised crew
    8. Check passengers toilets
    9. Listen for PA from flight crew
    10. Report to FAI
    11. FAI report to Captain
  • Emergency Evacuation
    • See Evacuation Systems on page 5.5.1 for operation of evacuation equipment
    • Main Deck Doors 1, 2, 3, 4 L. and R are Primary Exits for Ground Emergency and Ditching Emergency
    • All doors can be opened in ARMED mode in any attitude
    • The escape slides are usable in conditions such as all landing gear up, nose or tail down, the airplane leans to one side (supported by wing)
    • In certain airplane attitudes, an initial outward push on the door will be required to supplement the power assist
  • Decompression
    • Loss of Cabin Pressure prior to 14,500 Feet
    • Flight Deck: The flight crew will receive EICAS warning and advisory messages as the cabin altitude increases
    • Cabin: Oxygen masks deploy, cabin lights increase to full bright, passenger address system volume increases to maximum, five high chime sounds, FASTEN SEAT BELT signs illuminate with corresponding chimes, RETURN TO SEAT sign in toilets is extinguished, decompression tape will play (overridden by PA)
    • Crew Rest Decompression: Decompression horn sounds continuously, green oxygen indicator light illuminates, area lights increase to highest setting, Crew rest occupants must immediately fit the bunk oxygen mask, and fasten the bunk lap belt, Push the HORN SHUT OFF switch to silence the decompression alarm horns

    1. Smoke detector red alarm indicator illuminates
    2. Smoke detector alarm horn sounds
    3. Ceiling horn sounds
    4. Alert Hom sounds
    5. Amber Supply Airflow Off light illuminated
    6. Lights illuminate
  • Cabin Smoke Indications
    1. Amber call light flashes outside and above OFCR and OFAR door
    2. Nearest ACP amber call light flashes
    3. Nearest ACP continuous HI chime
    4. "SMOKE DETECTED DRI' CAP alert message, or
    5. 'SMOKE DETECTED DRS CAP alert message
  • Reset Overhead Rest Area Smoke Indications

    Push Horn Shut Off switch to turn off smoke indications
