• Amos was known as the “Prophet of Doom” who taught Israelites on mercy and justice.
• Hosea's name means “Yahweh helped” or “Yahweh saves”
• Amos's name is Amasiah means “Yahweh has cared”
• Jonah was instructed by God to convert sinners from Nineveh but he went to Joppa and boarded the ship going to Tarshish
• Hosea taught the great love of God to His people, Israel, who continually called His people to repentance and love.
• Jonah taught respect for all religions, sexes, races, colors and nationalities.
• Amos expresses the concern of God towards his people.
