• Fundamentalist believe the universe was created by God Ex Nihilo in six days over 24 hour periods.
• They believe it was created 6000 years ago as there are 10 generations between Adam and Eve and Noah
• Fundamentalists see the Genesis creation accounts as literal truth and historical accounts not parables.

  This is because they believe God dictated the Bible to Moses and as God is omniscient it must be true.
