  • Private Law
    A collection of legal rules that apply to a variety of legal relationships in which the acting person in the relationship is called a "person" or "legal subject".

  • Law of Persons
    Governs the definition, classification, and status of natural persons in law ( for example , the determination that life ( and legal personality) begins at birth and terminates upon death). OR

    Refers to 2 types of rights :
    Personal rights are rights that one person can exercise only against specific people.
    Real rights are rights that can be enforced against the whole world.

    An obligation is a legal bond (vinculum iuris) by which one or more parties (obligants) are bound to act or refrain from acting.

    The mutual exchange of privileges between states, nations, businesses, or individuals for commercial or diplomatic purposes.

    a person voluntarily and willfully agrees in response to another person's proposition. The person who consents must possess sufficient mental capacity.
  • Capacity ( Legal ) ( relating to the Law of Persons)

    The ability to enter into legally binding contracts.

    This branch of law deals with the payment of compensation to person who sustained harm,loss or damage , as a result of another person's negligent or reckless actions. A party can claim for patrimonial loss ( monetary) and / or non-patrimonial loss ( pain and suffering).
