  Macduff knows he will never be able to make Macbeth suffer in the way he has , he will avenge their death
• “Macduff was from his mother’s womb … untimely ripped“ (5,9)


  Macduff was born by C-section and so he can kill Macbeth as he isn’t woman born
• “Behold, where stands, the usurpers cursed head” (5,9)


  “usurper“ suggests Macbeth never deserved the crown, reference to “head” reminds us the person in charge of Scotland is gone so Malcom can take over
