  • Bespoke Design means that the product is designed specifically for the customer and is not available anywhere else.
  • Standard Design are products that are sold as standard, so the customer can't add any extra features/benefits.
  • Efficiencies in production can be achieved by changing the types of materials used or updating technology in production.
  • Design for Waste Minimisation is products that use a lot of energy and other resources in the making process should be designed to be durable and last a long time. Or products to be designed as smaller/lighter to save amount of materials used.
  • Design for Reuse is resources being saved if products are designed to be reusable or designing products so that components can be easily reused.
  • Design for Recycling are businesses adapting their production methods so designed products can be produced using recycled materials to save time and effort.
  • Ethical sourcing means ensuring that the products being sources are created in safe facilities by workers who are treated well and supplier is respecting the environment during production.
