  • Rows - these are lines or cells across a spreadsheet and is identified by a row number which is displayed on the left side of the screen.
  • Cells - is the particular point in a grid of a spreadsheet.
  • Columns - these are the cells down a spreadsheet and are identified by a series of alphabetically ordered letters across the top of the worksheet.
  • Workbook - it is simply the name of an excel file that contains one or more spreadsheet page or worksheets.
  • Worksheet - it is a single page of an excel spreadsheet each worksheet is displayed as series of tabs near the bottom left of the active page.
