  • Sexuality – everything about being human that’s either male or female. Fundamental part of one of God’s gift. We should appreciate her own sexual identity.
  • Sex – an interesting topic, but not simply refer to specific act or doing but ourdignity as persons
  • Chastity – equals celibacy (choice to refrain from doing sexual act) and views as a threat to freedom. Signifies rejection of human sexuality rather it signifies, spiritual energy capable defending love.

  • 6th commandment “You shall not commit adultery”                               - protects the sanctity of marriage and integrity of family (basic unit of society). Protection of the family that an threaten the conjugal love.
  • 9th commandment “You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife”             - it completes the 6th command, source of our sinful acts is our disordered desires and appetite.
  • 6th beatitude “Blessed are the clean of heart, for they will see God” – upholds and perfects the 6th and 9thcommandments.
  • Masturbation – act of arousing 
  • 7th commandment “You shall not steal” – protects our freedom to have what we need to live. Forbids to take other’s personal possessions. Also forbids robbing their freedom. Wans us against direct violations of justice and rights.
  • 8th commandment “You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor” –upholds the value of truth not only prohibiting lying but commands to respect the good name. reminds us our obligation to stand against truth that can threaten the foundation.
  • Lying – lies under oath before court of law is guilty of perjury (serious offense cause the life is accused of jeopardy).
  • slander - speak falsely against others with goal of destroying his good name.
  • Detraction – speak out publicly what is true but destructive of a person’s name and reputation. Have proper respect of others is protected
  • Gossiping and Backbiting – reality of destructive power of gossip. Whether bout something true or not, entertains it.
  • Verbal Abuse – similarly destructive, violate human dignity cause of disrespectfully focus on certain weaknesses. St. Paul reminds us that we are called to foster unity and understanding
  • Pornography- any material that violate the private and intimate sexval act
  • Sexual Act- first and foremost, is an intimate act of self-giving between husband and wife, an act they both freely enter into and whose meaning goes beyond mere bodily contact or physical gratification
  • Prostitution- enganging in the sexual act for money
  • Homosexual Orientation- the sexual attraction of a person toward mombert of the same sex
  • Homosexual. Act - refers to having sexual relations with another person of the same sex
