• Thymus Gland Consists of two lobes connected by an isthmus

  Thyroxine/tetraiodothyronine - consists of 4 iodine

  Triiodothyronine - contains 3 iodine atoms

  They regulate the metabolism of carbs, fats,and protein protein for normal growth.

  Calcitonin- lowers calcium and phosphate
