• Cameron tried appease Eurosceptics and those in favour of the EU through the Brexit referendum and appointing both to his cabinet
• Ed Miliband stopped Cameron from taking military action in Syria but still lost the election as he was unable to remember his speech after wanting to do it from memory
• Cameron was defeated 3 times when he had a majority, in comparison to May's 33 losses; the two main parties were generally in consensus over many issues and Cameron and Miliband had a much better relationship than most other PMs and Opposition leaders
