  • Leisure
    Freedom from work, school, or other responsibilities and tasks. It is a human right.
  • The importance of leisure is recognized by the United Nations through Article 224 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights: "Everyone has the right to rest and leisure, including a reasonable limitation of working hours and periodic holidays with pay."
  • Recreation
    An activity of leisure, derived from the Latin word "recreare" which means to be refreshed. Recreational activities are often done for enjoyment, amusement, or pleasure and are considered to be fun.
