What is commercialisation?
To manage or exploit (an organisation, activity, etc) in a way designed to make a profit.
What is sponsorship?
A commercial deal where businesses provides support, usually financial for a team, athlete or event.
What is media?
The way of communicating information to and audience
What are the roles of media?
Inform, educate, entertain, and advertise.

What are the different forms that sponsorship can take?
Clothing, paying for entry fees, facilities, etc.

Due to lack of strength, poor eyesight, hearing and disease elderly people may not participate in sport.

Lack of provision for people who can't use the facilities without additional equipment or sponsorship

What is sportsmanship?
Appropriate and fair behaviour while participating in sport.
What is gamesmanship?
Where the laws of the game are interpreted in ways that, whilst not illegal, are not in the spirit of the game.
What is deviance?
Behaviour that I immoral or seriously breaks the rules of sport
What is risk?
The amount of danger that actually exists in the activity.
What is risk assessment? 
A process used to evaluate the real risks involved in an activity
Name 3 causes of risk
Lack of preparation, broken equipment, and limited level of skill.
How can a performer manage risk?
By wearing protective clothing and following the rules and instructions
What does RICE stand for?
Rest, ice, compression, and elevation.
How do muscular injuries happen?
They happen when the muscle fibres get damaged or torn from stretching too much or making sudden movements.
