  • Only way to grow some plants, like orchids.
  • Quick process.
  • Large amounts produced.
• Disadvantages of cloning

  • Gene pool is decreased.
  • Seen as interference with nature.
• Reasons to clone animals:

  • To ensure that endangered species are saved from extinction
  • To produce organs dor organ transplants
  • To improve the quality and quantities of agricultural products
