• The process by which cells become specialised is called differentiation
• Specialised cells form tissues which form organs which form organ systems
• Examples of tissues:

  • Muscular - contracts to move whatever it is attached to
  • Glandular - makes + secretes chemicals like enzymes and hormones
• Liver produces bile
