• Testes - produce sperm
• Scrotum - holds and protects testes at slightly lower temperature than body.
• Sperm Duct - carries sperm from testes to urethra.
• Prostate Gland - adds fluid, makes semen.
• Urethra - tube through which sperm leaves penis.
• Penis - introduces sperm into vagina.
• Ovary - produces ova.
• Oviduct - carries ova to uterus, fertilisation takes place.
• Uterus - nourishes developing foetus.
• Cervix - opening of uterus, widens during birth.
• Vagina - sperm here during sexual intercourse.
• Fertilisation - Haploid sperm cell fuses with haploid egg nucleus to give a diploid zygote.
• Pregnancy - Fertilised egg, zygote, divides many times by mitosis to form a ball of cells as it travels down oviduct.
• Implantation - Uterus lining is where embryo implants.

  Amniotic sac develops.
