• What does it mean to worship?

  To give the glory and honor that belongs to God alone.
• How should we worship God as Jesus taught us?

  To worship the Lord "in Spirit and truth."
• Thomas' unwillingness to believe that the other Apostles had seen their risen Lord on the first Easter Sunday merited for him the title of "doubting Thomas"
• St. Thomas was a Jew, called to be one of the 12 Apostles.
• St. Thomas was a dedicated but impetuous follower of Christ.
• St. Thomas is also mentioned as being present at another Resurrection appearance of Jesus at Lake Tiberias when a miraculous catch of fish occurred.
• "You are to name him 'Jesus' because he will save his people from their sins "
• Today in our country, we continue to seek salvation from 'evils' we experience every day.
• Redemption requires our acceptance and living out of our faith.
• Aaron is described in the Book of Exodus of the Hebrew Scriptures as a son of Amram and Jochebed of the tribe of Levi, three years older than his brother Moses.
