• • Eye are a sense organ receiving light energy from external environment allowing to gather information providing important means of communication
• • Human eyes perceive the visible spectrum of the electromagnetic spectrum. Within visible light range of wavelengths there are 7 colours
• • Each colour is determined by wavelength and frequency of the light energy
• • As light enters the eyes, its refracted and focused onto retina where it stimulates receptors to send messages to the brain to be interpreted as images
• • Pathway: cornea → aqueous humour→ pupil→ lens—> vitreous humour→ retina
