• Willy Loman is a 63 year old travelling salesman
• Willy Loman's father, who was once a flute-maker and salesman
• Happy, 32 years old and who is younger than Biff.
• Willy says that his 42 year old son is a lazy bum.
• Willy criticized Biff for working at manual labor on farms and horse ranches in the West.
• Willy is secretly borrowing money from Charley to pay the life insurance and other bills. 
• Linda urges him to ask his employer, Howard Wagner, for a non-traveling job in New York City.
