  • During the 80’s the word solidarity is associated with the trade union movement co-founded with Lech Walesa.

  • Pakikisama - is also sharing one’s wealth, talent, time, and self with fellow human beings as in Bayanihan.
  • in Filipino culture, a person who has no pakikisama is a loner, an individualist disdained by others who seek his company. He does not know to “go with the crowd.”
  • Bayanihan - working together for a common good without regard for monetary remuneration
  • Bayani - Root word for bayanihan, "hero", "being heroes"

  • Our duty as creators is to be accountable for our actions and to takeour obligation to review ourselves.
