  • 9. Kristallnacht
    November 9 1938 Nazi mobs attacked Jews at home and on streets. They attacked and vandalized Jewish owned businesses beginning the final solution: elimination of jews from Germany.

    England and France mobilized troops and moved them to Maginot Line, a system of fortified bunkers on France’s border with Germany (but didn’t complete the border). Hitler attacks Norway and Denmark in April 1940: Denmark lasted 4 hours, Norway lasted 2 months

    Hitler invades Poland Sept 1939 in a surprise attack. Germans used this strategy meaning ‘lightning attack’ (fast moving attack using fast moving planes and tanks followed by infantry)
