  • Playing Court
    • Dimension: Rectangle measuring 18m x 9m surrounded by a free zone at least 2m (3m in open court) and with a space free from any obstructions to a height at least 7m from the playing surface
    • For official international competition, the free zone shall measure at least 5m from the sidelines and 8m from the end lines
    • The free space shall measure at least 12.5m in height from the playing surface

    • Must be flat, horizontal, and uniform
    • Must not present any danger of injury to the players
