PR Referral

• PR referral: Exclusion criteria:

  • Unstable cardiovascular conditions → unsafe to exercise:
  • Unstable angina
  • Unstable cardiac arrhythmias
  • Abdominal aortic aneurysm which is more than 5.5 cm
  • Resting heart rate which is more than 120 bpm
  • Systolic blood pressure which is more than 180 mmHg
  • Severe locomotor problems e.g. CVA → restrict ability to exercise and therefore benefit from PR
