It means that decision-making processes should be inclusive and seek to address the needs and concerns of all stakeholders, rather than just the interests of a select few
  • Rule of Law - This pillar refers to the need for a legal framework that is transparent, predictable, and fair. It means that laws should be applied equally to all citizens, regardless of their social status, wealth, or power
  • Responsive - This pillar refers to the need for government institutions to be responsive to the needs and concerns of citizens. It means that government officials should be accessible, transparent, and accountable to the public.
  • Equitable and inclusive - This pillar refers to the need for government institutions to promote equity and inclusion in their policies and practices. It means that government should strive to ensure that all citizens have equal access to basic services and opportunities, regardless of their race, gender, ethnicity, religion, or socioeconomic status.
  • Effective and efficient - This pillar refers to the need for government institutions to be effective and efficient in their operations. It means that government should use resources wisely, avoid wastage, and deliver services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Accountable - This pillar refers to the need for government institutions to be accountable to the public for their actions and decisions. It means that government officials should be held responsible for their performance, and mechanisms should be in place to ensure that they are answerable to the public.
