free will response - god created humans in his image, with free will. humans have the freedom to do good or bad, and god cannot interfere if they choose evil (human's fault, not god's)
vale of soul making - evil and suffering in this life is not a problem as this life is preparation for eternal paradise. people face evil and suffering to become good, kind, loving and they get rewarded
good out of evil - suffering brings out the good in people, determine to improve things
no answer response - god is divine and humans cannot understand his thoughts
