PSE can help provide picture of how ready the place is for tourism.
• by performing the pre assessment, the lgu or tourism developer will quickly determine the potential of tourism development and how soon it could commence. perlimenary assessment could save an LGU from investing huge sum of money into nonviable tourism projects.
• classification of sites

  existing site - one where supply and demand for tourism are already established.

  emerging site - one where the supply and demand are still in the inception or development stage.

  potential site - basically a greenfield or an area withourt tourism structures or visitors but has outstanding appeal.
