· The followers of Jesus are called Christians and they were first called at Antioch
· The fullness of Divine Revelation is Jesus Christ
The Sacred Scriptures are written in Greek.
· The Synoptics Gospels are Matthew, Mark, and Luke with their Low Christological themes.
· The New Testament contains the public life and teachings of Jesus, the Epistles of the Apostles, and the work or the history of the Apostles in the early Church.
· The Gospel of John started from Christology from above, also known for its High Christological themes. He also wrote the book of Revelation.
· Jesus was made flesh and becoming man is called Incarnation.
· Luke wrote the book of Acts of the Apostles. It is also the only historical book in the New Testament that speaks about the spread of the Church up to Paul’s visit to Rome.
· The third type of writings in the New Testament are the Letters or the Epistles. Paul wrote most of the epistles but the letter to the Hebrews does have anonymous authorship.
· Revelation is also known as the Apocalypse. It is a highly symbolic book, that signifies the battle between God and Satan.
· The New Testament writings are arranged topically not chronologically.
