• Historians get their evidence from sources
• primary sources are sources that come from the time being studied
• A secondary source is a source that comes from after the time being studied
• Archives have written (documentary)sources
• Museums have artefacts(objects made by people)
• Libraries have books
• BC= before Christ
• AD= Anno Domini(after Christ was born)
• BCE= before common era
• Chronology = the study of the time and dates, putting events in order of time
• subjective=personal opinion
• objective= historical judgement not being influenced by someone's feelings or opinions
