• Stage 3: Goodboy-Goodgirl
• Stage 4: Law and Order
• Stage 5: Social Contract Legalistic
• Stage 6: Universal Ethical Principle
• Punishment Obedience - Obeys rules to not get punished
• Punishment-Obedience - Obeys superior authority most especially if it can inflict pain
• Instrument-Relativists - They care about reciprocating kindness and own good and interest
• Goodboy-Goodgirl - They live up to social expectations
• Good boy-Good girl - They care about the approval of others
• Good boy-Good girl - Care about the majority not the minority
• Laws and Order - Consider society in making judgements
• Laws and order - Maintain, order rules, respect authority
• Social Contract Legalistic - believe that people should agree on the standards
• Social Contract Legalistic - Believe in consensus than majority
• Social Contract Legalistic - Respects minority and majority as equal
• Universal Ethical - People follow justice even if it means conflict with the rules or law
