• MAÑANA HABIT- The word "Mañana" means ‘tomorrow’ or ‘specified future time’ also known as “procrastination” in plain English, “mamaya na” in Filipino.
• AMOR PROPIO/SELF-RESPECT - It is Spanish word which means self love. It is a feeling of high self-esteem and is shown in the sensitivity of a person to hurt feelings and insults, real or imagined.
• DELICADEZA - It means conformity to the ethical practices or expectations of the group. It’s a sense of good manners or how to behave rightly in all situations.
• HIYA - It is a sense of social propriety and conforming to societal norms of behavior.
• PAKIKISAMA/PAKIKIPAGKAPWA TAO- If refers to good public relations or the avoidance of open disagreement or conflict with others.
• HOSPITALITY - It refers to the relationship between guest and the host.
• JOY AND HUMOR - It sheds light on the optimism and positivity of filipinos in whatever situation they are in so as to remain determined in going through struggles or challenges.
• FLEXIBILITY,ADAPTABILITY,CREATIVITY- This studies show the filipinos often have dislike to a set of standardized rules or procedures.
• ABILTY TO SURVIVE - It means resourcefulness. They have the extraordinary ability to make something about of basically nothing.
• HARD WORK AND INDUSTRY - Filipinos are very determined and persevering in accomplishing whatever they set their mind to.
• FILIPINO TIME - This is an aphorism to indicate the Filipino attitude on always being late at an appointed time or place.
