  • Key Process 1: Attention
    • observer must actively watch and focus on the model to observe behaviour and consequences
  • Key Process 2: Retention
    • observer must be able to remember behaviour and store it as a mental representation so that they can repeat it
  • Key Process 3: Reproduction
    • observer can only replicate or attempt to reproduce if they have the physical and mental capacity to do so
  • Key Process 4: Motivation
    • observer must be motivated to imitate the behaviour and must want to carry it out
  • Key Process 5: Reinforcement
    • observer must have factors that will them to reproduce the behaviour over and over again
