• Matrilineal Descent affiliates a person with a group of relatives through his/her mother.
• Monogamy happens when both married parents only have one spouse or sexual mate.
• Two types of Polygamy: Polygyny and Polyandry
• Polygyny a man has multiple female partners or mates.
• Variations of Family: Nuclear Family, Extended Family, Blended Family, Conditionally Separated Family, and Transnational Family
