• Sublian festival is an annual religious celebration of the people from Batangas City every July. It highlights the subli dance, a worship dance of the Holy Cross
• Sinulog Festival is celebrated annually on the third Sunday of January in Cebu City.
• Ati-Atihan Festival is held every third week of January in Kalibo, Aklan. The festival is done in honor of the Sto. Nino. The participants shout "Viva Sto.Nino" and "Hala Bira"
• Sinulog cames from the Cebuano adverb "sulog" which means "like water current movement"
• Masskara festival is held every October in Bacolod City
• Masskara means many faces, symbolizes the happy spirit of the people in spite of a gloomy atmosphere
• Coco festival is the festival celebrated in San Pablo City, Laguna
