    • Center angle separates a circle into arcs. For every arc on the circle, there corresponds exactly one central angle
  • Central angle intercepted arc postulate - The degree measure of a central angle is equal to the measure of its intercepted arc.
  • Arc addition postulate - the measure of an arc formed by two adjacent arcs is equal to the sum of the measures of the two arcs.
  • Another type of angle that can be formed through segments drawn on a circle is the inscribed angle.
    1. Inscribed angle theorem - the measure of inscribed angle is one-half the degree measure of its intercepted arc
    1. Corollary 1 - an angle inscribed in a semicircle is a right angle
    • Corollary 2 - two or more angles inscribed in a same arc are congruent
    • Corollary 3 - opposite angles of an inscribed quadrilateral are suplementary.
