  • Familiarization with the data
    This phase involves reading and re-reading the data, and become immersed and intimately familiar with it's content
  • Coding
    This phase involves generating succinct labels that identify important features of the data that might be relevant to answering the research question.
  • Searching for themes

    This phase involves examining the codes and collated data to identify significant broader patter or meaning.
  • Reviewing themes
    This phase involves checking the candidate themes against the data set, to determine if they tell convincing story of the data, and one that answer the research  question
  • Defining and naming themes
    This phase involves developing a detailed analysis of each theme, working out the scope and focus of each theme, determining the story of each
  • Writing up
    The final phase which involves weaving together the analytical narrative and extract and contextualizing the analysis in relation to existing literature.
  • Know you data
    Reread your written observation, relisten the audio recoded interviews or rewatch the movie clip
  • Focus your analysis
    Focus yourself on consistent and or varied responses
  • Do coding
    Always consult your research questions or you might end up doing unnecessary information. Coding is simply categorizing the data and reducing them.
  • Clean your daya
    Go through your data once more if there are Daya errors
  • Identify meaningful patterns and Theme
    Is the heart and soul of the entire qualitative data analysis. In this stage  you can look at the data
  • Interpret your data
    After analyzing, coding, etc. You are now ready to _________. In this stage, you will synthesize your tables to a paragraph

    It is a set of procedures and methods that is used to collect and analyze measures of the variables given in the objective

    It is a list of names which shows the characteristics of the target population
