• The National Security Policy (NSP)

  is a document which contains the statement of principles that sets the strategic policy goals and objectives of the administration in order to attain the state or condition wherein the national interests of the Philippines, the well-being of its people and institutions; and its sovereignty and territorial integrity are protected andenhanced
• National Security Policy Purpose

  a.provides a roadmap for the attainment of

  the country’s security vision and mission;

  b. outlines national security priorities based on

  realistic analyses of risks and opportunities;

  c. offers a strategic direction on how to protect

  and enhance our national interests, and

  d. introduces actions and measures for its

  effective management and implementation.
