• Qualitive - measured data, numbers. (the height of a person)
• quantitive - categorized data, not numbers (the colours of a car)
• discreet (qualitive) - categorized numbers with set headings / simple values
• continuous (qualitive) - measured numbers / in a range
• median (either value or class )
