  • when writing the title, remember to:
    1. indicate the variables to be measured
    2. indicate the subjects or respondents of the study
    3. avoid the use of abbreviations
    4. capitalize the first letters of the substantial words in the title
  • the backgound of the study answers these questions:
    1. what problem/issue is this study about?
    2. what are the facts about the problem/issue?
    3. why is this problem/issue important?
    4. is it an original study?
    5. is there a gap in other studies that needs to be filled?
  • results and discussion
    part where you present the findings of the statistical treatments and briefly interpret what the values mean
  • conclusion
    this is the part where you make a generalization answering the objectives of the study based on the interpretation of the results of the study
  • in conclusion, highlight the main point of the findings and avoid restarting the results of the study
  • recommendations
    this is the part where you suggest either of the following:
    1. solutions that can solve the problem
    2. actions that avoid/improve/maintain the situation
    3. opportunities for future research
  • bibliography
    • this is where you list down all the references you cited in writing this paper
    • we usually follow the APA style of writing bibliography and different set of rules apply to different kinds of references
    • take note of the indention on the second line, the punctuations used, how the details are arranged, and which details are italized
