• Recreation activities are active or passive activities that are a diversion from everyday routine and are undertaken for fun, relaxation, and fitness
• Economic interactions relate to or are based on the production, distribution and consumption of goods and services. Any instance where a persons motivation to be in the outdoor environment is linked directly to economic benefit
• Conservation is a relationship in which interactions are focussed on maintaining or improving the health of outdoor environments
• Recreational relationships are where interactions are either actively or passively providing a participant with fun, enjoyment, fitness and enjoyment within an outdoor environment
• Conservation is the preservation, protection management or restoration of the natural environment including ecosystems, vegetation and natural resources (ie. soil, water)
• Custodianship is the responisbility for taking care of or protecting something
• Kinship is an indigenous persons relationships and reponsibilities to other people and to their country
