Secure attachment was the most common in all cultures.
Germany had the highest number of avoidant children (focused on raising obedient, independent children. Secure attachment=too needy).
Japan had very few avoidant children but a high proportion of resistant children, almost never alone (sleep with parents, usually until age 2).
