Isthmic Spondylolisthesis

• Spondylolisthesis – Isthmic (acquired over lifetime):

  • Pars Interarticularis defect or fracture is present
  • L5 over S1 slip
  • caused by Repeated extension
  • Some professional sports players may be at risk
  • Might have a history of repeated extension or associated trauma
  • May present with or without leg pain (referred) or neuro (radiculopathy)
