  • Location and Access- Locate sources you plan on using.
  • Use of Information- engage the source and extract relevant information form the source.
  • Synthesis- Organize notes from sources and group according to similarity the present infromation
  • Evaluation- Judge the product and judge the process.
  • Primary sources- Immediate firsthand account of a topic even or time period.
  • Secondary sources- analysis, interpretation or restatement of primary sources
  • Evaluating Source- choose the reliable source for research look at criteria
  • Authority- who is author? what are their credentials?
  • Accuracy- compare the author's information to that which you already know is reliable
  • Relevance- is the information relevant to your topic and does it meet your needs.
  • Currency- Is your topic constantly evolving
